PROFILE Form for Entering Students

Entering freshmen must submit a CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE application to be considered for need-based University of Michigan grants and scholarships.  Some students may also be required to complete a Noncustodial Parent PROFILE and/or a PROFILE Business/Farm Supplement application.  (If so, the College Board will provide information about how to complete the applications.)

Completing the 2010-2011 CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE:

  • The PROFILE application will be available online starting October 1, 2009, at: https://profileonline.collegeboard.com
  • The PROFILE costs $25 fee for the initial application and your first school report. You will be charged $16 for each additional college to which you wish your PROFILE information sent.
  • Be sure to list CSS Code 1839, so that a copy of your PROFILE record will be sent to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Completing the 2009-2010 CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE:

  • The PROFILE application will be available online starting October 1, 2008, at: https://profileonline.collegeboard.com
    Note: Complete the 2008-2009 PROFILE by January 17, 2010; it will not be available after that date.
  • The PROFILE costs $25 fee for the initial application and your first school report. You will be charged $16 for each additional college to which you wish your PROFILE information sent.
  • Be sure to list CSS Code 1839, so that a copy of your PROFILE record will be sent to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
