Spring/Summer Aid

Spring/Summer Aid

Continuing Students:

  1. To apply for Spring/Summer aid, complete a Spring/Summer Request for Funds (RFF); the form is made available online and in PDF format in late January or early February. Note that you must register at least half-time for Spring/Summer classes in order to receive financial aid.
  2. If you are a continuing student and you have not yet completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current year, you must also complete the FAFSA and submit it to the federal processor in order to apply for Spring/Summer aid.

For example:  If you are applying for 2008 Spring/Summer Aid and you already submitted a 2007-2008 FAFSA to apply for Fall/Winter aid, do not submit another FAFSA to apply for Spring/Summer 2008.  However, if you did not submit a 2007-2008 FAFSA, you will need to submit one to apply for Spring/Summer 2008 aid.  The Office of Financial Aid might also ask you to submit additional application materials.

Entering Students:

Entering students who wish to apply for Spring/Summer financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current academic year. Complete the FAFSA online, or call 1-800-4-FEDAID to request a paper copy.

Entering students do not need to submit a Spring/Summer Request for Funds.
